Are You a Candidate

Are You A Candidate? Who is a good candidate for cosmetic surgery?

You may be a good candidate for cosmetic surgery if you have realistic expectations, are in good health, and are likely to be happy with the results of your cosmetic procedure. Good health plays an important role. Serious health conditions may preclude  surgical treatment. These conditions include diabetes, depression, heart disease, bleeding disorders, high blood pressure and more. If you are obese, smoke or drink alcohol in excess, you may not be a good candidate. Your doctor may ask you to lose weight or quit smoking within a month of surgery to improve the body’s ability to heal. Other factors, such as vitamin / herbal supplements, skin type and scarring potential all should be discussed and managed for optimal safety and outcomes.

You may be a good candidate for cosmetic surgery if:

  •  Facelift: The skin and soft tissues on your face and / or neck sag significantly, causing deep wrinkles and a double chin.
  • BROW LIFT: You look angry when you’re not, have heavy or falling eyebrows or deep wrinkles.
  • EYE LIFT: You have puffy or droopy upper and / or lower eyelids or bags.
  • RHINOPLASTY: If you have an unwanted bump or large / crooked nose.
  • CHEEK AUGMENTATION: You have flat or sagging cheeks or jowls.
  • LIP AUGMENTATION: You want fuller lips or a redefined shape.
  • CHIN AUGMENTATION: You have a weak chin or desire better profile balance.
